Freightliner CCC Offers Camp Freightliner Discount for February Classes
Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation Offers Camp Freightliner Discount for February Classes
*Co-pilot attends Camp Freightliner free in February
GAFFNEY, S.C. – Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) announced today that the $50 co-pilot fee for Camp Freightliner will be waived for classes scheduled in the month of February.
Interested pilots and co-pilots can participate in Camp Freightliner classes for just $100 rather than the regular fee of $150 for both attendees, an over 33 percent savings. Discounted rates apply to February 15-16 and 18-19 classes.
Camp Freightliner is a comprehensive two-day training course at FCCC’s Factory Service Center located in Gaffney, S.C. During the course, motorhome operators are educated about the benefits of and maintenance of their specific FCCC chassis, reviewing such topics such as the air brake and electrical system, maintenance intervals, weight distribution and vehicle storage. In addition, pilots and co-pilots have the opportunity to learn the intricacies of a Freightliner chassis firsthand, examining a bare chassis to highlight and review its features.
The ever-popular Camp Freightliner class is also now open to anyone interested in learning more about motorhoming, not just current FCCC owners.
“We recently opened Camp Freightliner to anyone who might be interested in moving from a towable or fifth wheel to a Class A motorhome, or for people who just want to learn more about owning a motorhome, so we could educate them about chassis maintenance and give them an understanding what goes into owning and operating a Class A RV,” said Dave Hoover, customer support manager at FCCC.
“While attendees riding on FCCC chassis still receive education and training specifically tied to their chassis VIN number and specs, attendees who do not currently own a motorhome riding on our chassis will learn from the general maintenance tips and feature/benefit discussions surrounding a Freightliner chassis, allowing them to make an educated decision to enter the Class A motorhome market.”
