iRV2.com Sets Date for 2011 National Rally

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- iRV2 announced today that its 11th consecutive iRV2 National Rally will be held Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 at Bethpage Camp and RV Resort in Virginia.

"Nestled on the shores of the Rappahannock River, “The Rivah”, Bethpage Camp and RV Resort has been described as the best campground in Virginia and one of the premier destinations on the entire east coast of the United States", said Michael Pelchat, director of marketing for iRV2.

"We have camped at Bethpage a number of times. However, since we were there last, they have added a number of features, including a new water park and kiddie pool and a “rivah” front boardwalk.

"The recreational hall is amazing and it will be the focus where we will have all of our meals, entertainment and group activities," said Pelchat. "The dining facilities are second to none. A cafeteria style serving line will expedite serving of meals by the smiling faces of our caterer. Beverages will be made available during all of the catered meals.

The registration desk will be open Sept. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. at which time participants will receive a goodie bag and tickets for trips and activities including a themed 2011 National Rally ID Button.

The rally will officially begin afterward with a welcoming social in the recreation hall at 6 p.m. The social will have both hot and cold hors d'oeuvres including soda, beer and wine. This event will run until 8 p.m.

The national rally will see a number of vendors in attendance. They will be setup in a separate building and will welcome members starting Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Some of our vendors will present seminars and I can guarantee that you will see this time as well spent and enjoyable," said Pelchat.

Rally organizers are hoping to have a major Virginia-based RV dealer present at the show who would also bring a number of recreational vehicles for display and sale. Details ae still being worked out..
