FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Redlands Truck and RV Awarded Top Customer Service Award
Local business recognized as Number One in the Nation
REDLANDS, CA., March 16, 2009—Redlands Truck and RV has received the Customer Service Award for providing the best customer satisfaction in the nation, from Workhorse Custom Chassis (WCC), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of motorhome chassis and an affiliate of Navistar. The prestigious award was presented to Keith Shomaker, co-owner of Redlands Truck and RV Performance Center, at a recent Workhouse Chassis Motor home Club’s Owners Rally, held at the Bakersfield RV Resort on March 9-12, with over 200 in attendance, including officials of WCC and existing customers.
“A well deserved Award,” stated Alan Stegich, Director of Service for Workhorse Custom Chassis, “Keith and his crew have worked hard for this recognition,” he added. The award is significant in the industry because WCC relies on the Customer Service Index Program as a tool to ensure customers are receiving the best possible service among the over 800 service centers, nationwide.

Since becoming a WCC Service Center in 2000, Redlands Truck and RV has become well-known throughout the RV industry for its commitment to customer satisfaction. The award was a crowning moment for the 12 employees of Redlands Truck and RV as they received acknowledgement and recognition for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
Family owned and operated by brother and sister team Keith and Karen, the company has been servicing vehicles in Southern California since 1972. Primarily serving as a truck repair business, the RV service element was added when Keith and his sister purchased the business from their parents in 2000. According to Keith, “50% of all motor homes in the U.S. are registered in California, with half of that number located in Southern California.” The Redlands company partners with Brazel’s RV, located in the state of Washington, to service the entire western region of the U.S.
When asked what he attributes the company’s exceptional customer service to, Keith noted, “I believe our success begins with the values that our parents instilled in us—to provide service with honesty and integrity. We believe in treating our customers like family, and in giving them the best service possible. Service is the main product we are selling.”
A respected special service dealer and certified Workhorse Destination Dealer, Redlands Truck and RV Performance Center shares the distinction shared by other Workhorse dealers across the country, recognized for backing the premiere RV chassis in the industry with high-quality service and repairs.
