GOSHEN, IN — Wholesale shipments of recreational vehicles rose 16.4 percent in March over March 2013 totals, according to Goshen News.
The total units shipped were 33,678. The gain was 9.3 percent from year to year and was the best March total since 2007, Goshen News reports. Motor home shipments had an even greater gain, rising 33.5 percent in March over March 2013. There were 4,120 motor homes shipped in March.
First-quarter RV shipments totaled 89,971 units, up 13.3 percent from the same quarter in 2013. The first quarter was also the best since 2007 for the RV industry, Goshen News reports.
