Winnebago’s Randy Potts, Scott Degnan Plus Lazydays’ Chris Trapeni on Episode 007

RV Industry News
RV Daily Report
Greg Gerber, Editor

This week’s podcast reports on the activity at Winnebago’s annual Dealer Days event in Las Vegas May 14 to 16.
.
The company introduced several new models, including a prototype Class B and a new retro Class B, with some pretty impressive features.
.
RV Industry News host Greg Gerber had a chance to sit down and talk with Randy Potts, the president, CEO and chairman of Winnebago. He talks about the direction the company is headed and the RV market in general. Gerber also recaps an interview he had with Scott Degnan, the vice president of sales, marketing and brand development, regarding the company’s new branding initiative. Here’s a hint — you’re going to see a lot more Winnebago merchandise very soon.

With RV Daily Report officially on the road for its seven-month excursion to visit RV dealers and campgrounds, and to take part in various rallies and industry events, the first stop was in Tucson. Gerber had a chance to visit with Chris Trapeni, the general manager of the Lazydays Tucson store. He talks about the success the dealership has had in following the company’s six core values. He also touches on the health of the Tucson market in general.
