I have read that it's common for Monaco/HR product manuals of the 2000-2010 model years to specify slides are to be extended and retracted at ride height- supposedly because that's the way the coaches/slides were assembled and adjusted at the factory. I understand this applies to both diesels and gassers. On our coach, the slides go out first, then leveling occurs. In the opposite direction, off the levelers onto the springs, then slides come in.
Thought I'd let you know. The manual for your coach gets the final say, of course, although sometimes they're not that clear!
