Hello Everyone ,
Just made our first trip from thr DFW area to Linchburg Tenn and back last week. Could not be more pleased . What a Coach ! Had a few minor issues . The biggest one being the windshield wipers .
I know about the silonoid problem and have "sealed" it. Would someone please advise me on the Cummins "belt" problem and anything else I might be on the look out for.
Also , my local dealer and Newmar are working together on the HD TV. I guess HD TV in a RV is kinda new.
Thanks

eglen welcome to irv2
Congrats on your new ESSEX
Come on down to the Newmar Forum you have plenty of company must be a dozen ESSEX on the forum and plenty of info on your Essex.
The K-2 chassis is also covered in the Spartan forum. The belts have caused some problems but maybe you will not have the problem depends on your chassis build date. YOU will find much info in these two forums.
Enjoy the forums and post often.

Welcome as both a new member of IRV2 and owner of your 4508. What was explained to me last week second hand from Newmar, even if you have the newly designed bracket, they still want the two belts replaced with the new one belt. There is quite a bit of discussion in the forum relating to this, and you can find it by reviewing the previous posts.
