A Commander 33' with a Ford Chassis can be had for MSRP of around 180,000. Move up to the 37' triple slide on Workhorse with all the toys will be around 210,000. Your next step is the Empress DP which will start around 350,000. I have been through the factory at Winkler and watched both Commanders and Empress on the same line. After the chassis, most all body components are much the same. All cabinets are built in a seperate factory in Winkler of the same woods. All fabrics and carpets are the same. Both use flexsteel with the Empress getting a slightly higher quality. Appliances can be the same product except usually in the Empress you can get fancy stainless. The front and rear caps are built on site for both units as are the sidewalls and roof. All construction is pretty much identical for all. The units are painted on site with the Empress getting a slightly better job which consists of additional coats. I found the most important feature with Triple E is that they care. Most all of the 300 employees are profit sharing and are proud of the workmanship.

Had the same problem with a 1999 senator 24ft with leaks. After aroof failed the second time dealer installed,Tripple e took it back to the factory and installed another roof a side wall. But it still leaked. They replaced the unit with a 2002 Regency XL 28ft with all the options at a very low cost to me. I had to retun mine to the factory and picked up my new one. Very good people to deal with. They still have a 2year warranty and road service . Units are some of the best on the market
