I actually tried to retire a few years ago but my employer asked to come back, so I did some contract consulting and then they wanted me fulltime again. In that brief time I did really get used to waking when I wanted and doing things at my own pace. It's hard getting anything done these days so your right, there just isn't enough time for a dang job any more. About 2 weeks to go!!!

Congrats and what a nice looking rig. I retired seven months ago and my wife, wisely, put a trip together three days after the retirement party. We were gone for a month and it really helped me ease into retirement. Loving every minute of it and hope you do too.

I retired on March 3, 2000 and we left on a trip the next day. Came back in the Spring.............................: )

We just this week sold our old Airstream 345 Turbo Diesel and have a new to us 2002 Journey with low miles and all options. Getting ready to go again.

Life is short and you cannot buy the time back with money.
