Gave up the mansion for this cottage

Changed from this 'mansion':

to this "cottage':

Just got tired of backing in.

Congratulations on your new cottage. In addition to being very easy to park and set up, It really will come in handy when driving down the road and wanting to make a sandwich for a quick lunch. Or, while you are driving, your passenger can catch 40 winks.

Congratulations on the new "cottage". Best of luck with it. It's also nice when someone needs to take a restroom break. No need to pull over, (unless it's you).

Yeah, one of the things I miss about my boat, " Here grab the helm while I go to the head" It don't work in the motor home.

Congrats too on the new cottage. We just did the same thing. We went from a 39.5 ft mansion with fireplace, huge kitchen, king bed, recliners, etc to a 33 ft motor home with sofa and booth and what my wife calls a little kitchen area and a queen bed. We've had it since June and it's taken some adjustment but are getting to love it. One thing we've learned, you can't compare to what you had but appreciate what you have. We really like the easy set up and like you said, "backing in", it's a breeze! Enjoy

Or hit the autopilot and make a quick pit stop. Always feels weird sailing alone when ya gotta go...check the horizon a few times...and down the hatch. Only got caught off guard once in many years but the radar proximity alert went off. Much easier with others on board.

Congrats and enjoy. We are looking at the same thing in the future because our 40 ft can be challenging at times in some of these tight spots.
