Just picked us a 2006 TS Select 45

Got to the Dallas area just as they had a record snow a week ago. Drove from there to the Seattle area and once 100 miles out of Dallas the weather was clear and sunny. Learned a lot on the trip, but there is much more to learn about the coach and how everything functions. Plan to retire at the end of March and do some extended traveling. Still have some operational issues on the coach that the dealer was not clear on. Look forward to seeing places and people as we travel.

drwyatt: Congratulations on your new rig. We're also looking at purchasing a 2006 TS. Would you happen to have the book for the 2006 TS's? The dealer that we're talking to doesn't appear to know very much about this unit and since TS is out of business, we want to learn as much as possible before we make the plunge. Any info would sure help. The unit we're looking at is a Classic 36SKQ. Thanks! - Marianne

Our is a TS 45 Select and is not the same as smaller units. TS is a good brand and has a very good reputation. If yours has a Spartan chassis information on in can be got from the Spartan web site. Ask on different blogs and someone will have specific info on your unit. The old service group from TS has a shop in Elkhart, IND. Information can be got on the web for most information you need. The TS owners manual for my unit is kind of limited in detail on a lot of things. Good luck and part of the fun is all the research that can be done on the specific coach you have. Thanks, Dave

Very nice rig. April fools day is good day to retire. Enjoy those future trips and the best years ahead.

Thanks for the picture. It sure is a beautiful motorhome. I'm sure you'll have many great adventures ahead and you can enjoy it in style.

That is one fine looking rig. I'd love to see the inside. A Big DP is the next upgrade for us. We've been 3.7 years full time in the Dolphin. 38 feet is as small as we could imagine for a FT home. It's time for a Washer / Dryer :-) and more room.

Here is a link on a TS 2005, but the inside and outside looks identical to the 2006 45 Select. It is a great home and will be a pleasure when we get in it fully. We leave for a 31 day cruise to Italy and a 6 week tour of Italy , Spain, Portugal and Paris in mid April. It is a retirement kick off. Then 3 months in the RV and on the 3218 Bayliner in the San Jaun Islands of Washington state. Then we will go slowly down the Washington. Oregon and California coast in the fall and winter of 2010. This will be a shake down on the Motorhome and in 2011 we will do an around the USA in 2 years.
