I learned the differential steering on my own when I was racing short and flat track.

Wow, flat track racing is badazz! So you definitely know differential steering. you got the bike laid over on the left side in a left turn and the front tire is pointed straight up which means it's turned to the right.

Lots of riders do it and don't even realize it. On the street just a twitch of opposite steering sets the bike up for a turn.
