Meet "Hachi-Bei" our new Trend 23L

PHP Code:
[PHP
[/PHP]As a complete "Newby" first time camping car owners,my wife, Taeko, and I are pretty excited about our new "friend" we call "Hachi-Bei"! The name comes from a character in a Japanese TV samurai drama we used to view while working civil service in Japan years ago. A jovial fellow, exceedingly loyal to his friends, and a great lover of travel, food and of course Saki. The name just kinda stuck. Technicaly "Hachi-Bei" is a 2014 Winnebago Trend 23L. It was purchased from a teacher heading for an over seas assigment. An unexpected good turn for him brought an unexpected good turn for us. "Hachi-Bei" comes with four wheel disc brakes, and a 3.6 liter engine with 280HP On the few road trips we've been on fuel average appears to be 17.1 GPH at about 65MPH. In a pinch they say she will sleep 6 but I'd say four is more realistic. My wife and I are both cancer survivers so we plan to do "our thing together" as a couple. For us it has a ton of room. Kind of our "bucket list" car if you will. "Hachi-Bei" came to us with 4,800 miles. We plan to do something about that in the future.

As a Newby trying to post photos of my new camping car. Trying to post photo from my I-pad directly. I'm being asked for a URL. Can someone "school" me on what to do?

If you have the irv2 app on your iPad , posting photos is easier.

Congrats on your new RV and welcome to the forum.

Congrats! I've gotten a peek inside a couple of Trends and think they are a heck of a setup for the size and cost.
