My new to me new rolling home

I finally made the jump and bought my Class A. She is a 1998 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 37CDS. I plan on going full time this summer. Although I had originally intended on a Newmar DSDP of a similar vintage, local units were all about 10k more than this one.

I have named her Dame Edna Endeavor. (Partly after the celebrity, but more so for the great aunt Edna. )

Green exterior with a green and tan interior with light/washed oak wood. I plan on removing the sofa sleeper that is currently in the slide, move the other sofa into the slide and add an electric fireplace/TV stand and a sage green recliner between the co-pilots chair and the dinette.

She is in the shop right now getting winterized and a couple minor issues fixed.

I cant wait to take my first trip!

Nice looking rig!

IF going FT you need to 'start' DIY as much as possible.
Winterizing it yourself would be a good starting point to learning plumbing system

12V Side of life is good reading
The 12volt Side of Life (Part 1)

RV Electric more good info
RV Electric

Go thru rig with pen/paper and write down each component BRAND/MODEL
(water pump, water heater, A/C Unit--thermostat, fridge, converter, inverter, power supply etc)
Then goggle each one for 'Service Manual' (Atwood GC6A-3E Service Manual....example of water heater)
Then download/print and place in 3 ring binder.
You will then have YOUR own specific owners manuals for your rigs equipment.

With that info you can DIY/Learn to DIY cause as a FTr it comes in real handy (and cheaper)

Good luck!

I had a rig just like yours for 13 years and 45000 miles. I wish I would have kept it as the next two Monacos were rolling break downs. Just remember to down shift when pulling large hills and that motor will run run run. Drive safe!!!
