New 2013 Coachmen Mirada 35DL

I traded in my 2000 Coachmen Mirada 34MBS on Friday for a new 2013 Coachmen Mirada 35DL. Spent the weekend at Salt Fork State Park in Kimbolton Ohio to get everything organized and checked out. Have found a few issues, but nothing major so far. It is amazing how things have been improved in the RV world since 2000. I love the new coach!!

Congrats. I have a Mirada 29DS and think that it is a very good unit for the $$$. I went smaller as we wanted to go into smaller campgounds that we could not get into with our old 5th wheel.

Just got back from camping at Salt Fork State Park again this weekend. The quality of the DVD player is going to be a problem and I am already looking into that. I also found a problem with the stereo wiring where the front and rear speakers were reversed, but I think that is on my dealer, not Coachmen. Fixed that myself. The biggest issue right now is with the shower. There just does not seem to be a lot of water making it out of the shower head, both off the pump and from city water. Anything to look for in that area?

Love the coach so far!!!!

We had the same issue with the shower in our new SportsCoach 385DS. I took the shower hose assembly and head apart and there was a bunch of plastic shavings blocking the inlet to the head. All good now.

I have had the same problem on 2 previous new units. Just like the last post says, shavings in the water line. Quick easy fix. Must be industry wide. Good Luck
