We've had an ACE 29.2 since February and have really enjoyed it. We just completed the front sway bar fix and expect to love it even more. Check out the many posts and be sure to manually reset the auto-levellers to a lower level.

Enjoy!

Thanks all. I plan on resetting the levellers fairly quickly and will definitely look into the sway bar fix. I also plan to rig up something to secure the bunk a little better than the magnets....I don't trust them.

We plan on taking our maiden voyage next weekend at Newport Dunes.

We've done 17,000 miles in our ACE on some very rough roads with no problems. The magnets are fine. Even if the magnets were to fail, the bed does not drop since the mechanism is holding it up. On a 29.2 what you need to be looking out for is the macerator pump. I've heard several reports of pumps burning out.

Thanks Bruce,

I read about the same issues. The guy who did our PDI advised us to dump manually the first few times in case any manufacturing debris got in the tank.

This is our first motorhome. We've had toy haulers (last was a 40' Weekend Warrior 3905 SLC) in the past. I'm looking forward to going places other than the desert.

Still working out the Bugs

Lost my old MH while on a 48 Day summer trip. Bought a new 2013 Thor Windsport while in Denver and finished the planned 5000 mile trip. Now have had it in the shop for jack problem since Aug 1st, hoping to get it out before election. Issue has been with Lippert vendors lack of customer service. Thor has tried to help, but now I'm almost afraid to try it out again. Not sure how to apply the lemon law as I am in Calif, bought it in Colorado, and have it registered in Ohio.

We bought in Ariz. Took delivery in Calif, were registered in Texas. Filed Lemon Law in Calif. we were surprised how smooth it went. We Filed against workhorse after several attempts to fix the problem.

Our 2013 ACE has been in the shop for a month for the same thing, leveling jacks don't work. They have ordered parts twice and still not fixed, going to call back Monday morning to find out what the next step is. We're not very happy campers right now!!
