New (to us) 2001 Newmar Dutch Star Diesel Pusher

As I explained in my Introduction thread, we traded a 2015 Keystone Outback Terrain 220TRB in for this.

It is a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star 3852 built on a Spartan Chassis powered by a Cummins ISC 8.3 engine mated to an Allison transmission.

Our dogs Desi and Lucy seem to approve as you can see.

It has cherry hardwood interior cabinetry, leather throughout, a slide in the main room as well as a 2nd slide in the bedroom.

Looking to see what changes we can make (lighting, changing out the existing stereo for one with Bluetooth and satellite radio capability, changing at least the front TV out for a LED) in the near future.

Welcome, and I'm sure you will love your Dutch Star. I bought my very first RV 3 months ago and absolutely love mine. I'm very impressed with the quality that Newmar builds into their Motor-homes from bumper to bumper. They seem to think of everything when they design them. Good Luck!

Congratulations! Beautiful coach and beautiful doggies. What kind are they? I love their names, by the way.

I'm the wife in the photo with the dogs, LOL.

They are a Jack Russel Chihuahua mix (called Jack Chi's). They are brother and sister from the same litter. And they turned 4 years old last week. They have 7 feline siblings. The felines stay home when we travel.

They are Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrorist mixes. Thanks for asking.

It seems my wife beat me to the punch.
