New to us 2006 Fleetwood Bounder (after flood loss)
Been awhile since I posted, went through a flood that totaled the 2004 Tioga.
But we are back, in a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder.
A lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving
If anyone needs advice on how to recover from being flooded/totaled and to get back in the game/life. Hit me up.

I bought a “flooded” coach after it was totaled. The coach is beautiful except for the side damage caused by water intrusion under two passenger side windows.
I’m sorry for your RV loss. Hopefully your new Bounder serves as a good replacement. At any point any one of us could face what you went through. So your offer to explain the process of what an owner of an RV with a loss may expect is welcome.

Ahh, I have to be careful what I promise. To try to put that thought process into less than a 1000 words is impossible.
The main point is nothing works, the oil was washed out of the motor and transmission. My best advice is to move on as fast as possible, be decisive, and move on.
If just for your mental health, and feeling that things are ok, and on the mend.
When the dully flipped, it sent a wave to us that knocked us off our jacks. That's when the rig started to go downstream. Fortunately it tilted towards the bank and not towards the river. Then it wedged itself into the trees and stopped moving.

I wasn’t expecting to hear such a perilous story. I’m glad to hear you made it through.
