Smile New to us 2016 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 34PA

Picked up last month our first motorhome!

25,000 miles and about $30k under other listings we saw. Full maintenance done with all records and the previous owner spent 7 hours going over every detail of the rig; all the squeaks and how to get rid of them and every nuance you could think of. What a guy!

And now we are only 27 days from our launch to full time in it! So excited. We sold our house 2 years ago and moved to an apartment to downsize in preparation for this day, and now it is almost upon us.
We also sold our beloved Rockwood Roo 183 at the same time, meaning it's been over 2 years since we went camping. We are so looking forward to next weekend when we do our first dry run to River's Bend outside Middlebury, VT.

The amount of extra stuff needed for full time is mind bogling. Since we are both working from the road we needed internet. So of course I went overboard and got starlink, and a Dish Hotspot that 'roams' on AT&T also ($20 a month. Can't beat that) and we have an iPad on Verizon Cellular and can use it as a hotspot in a pinch. And 7 thousand other purchases from Amazon and local stores. My poor bank account.

We have planned out our trip from mid-sept to mid-February using RV Life Trip Wizard, Harvest Host/Boondocker's Welcome, Passport America as well as COE sites using the recreation.gov. Lots of work but we are dialed in.. until the wheels start turning.

See you on the road!
