Newbie in Florida
As promised, here is the new addition to the family. We will be taking a few short (local) trips just to get a feel. Our first extended will be to the Fort Lauderdale area in early Dec. as we go see the Detroit Red Wings play 2 games in FLA. I here Markham Park is a great place to stay. Then on to the Tampa area for a few more days. Expect to be gone a couple weeks. Any recommendations for the Tampa area? We will not have a toad on this trip. (We don't have one yet)

You might want yo check on the Lazy Days CG in Sefner FL (Tampa). It has a restaurant, Bob Evans across the street, and pretty close to everything especially since you'll not have a toad. Have fun!

Very nice, congrats!
I second Lazy Days. There really isn't a lot near Tampa in the way of campgrounds. I wish Busch Gardens had one. We stay in Zephyrhills near my mother, but my daughter lives in Tampa

Lazydays ayes is nice. Has plenty of space, nice restaurant, pool, people are really friendly. If you want wooded area where you can have a camp fire try hillsborough river state park. It is only 20 minutes from lazy days.

Enjoy your ace in the hole. She should serve you well. You could always get a pagani for a toad nice and light.
