Our first RV! 2014 Itasca Navion 24J

My wife got the RV bug when some friends moved into a Class A. I took some convincing, but she won eventually. (Don't they always?) It's perfect for our small family with small kids - we have a tough time feeding them (healthy) on the road, and going potty is always a chore - and we have a dog, too. We always had fond memories of RVing with our parents back when we were little... So we took the plunge!

Maiden voyage was taking her back to Texas from Missouri. I took the scenic route home through the Ouachita National Forest. Rig handles great!
At dealer:

First morning in Cedar Park Recreation Area (Ouachita Nat'l Forest)

Back home, safe and snug:

We couldn't be more excited! Homer has already staked his spot:

First trip with the family is this weekend. Staying pretty close, going to do the TX Hill Country for the long weekend and learn how little we know about RVing (with kids) (and a dog). Wish us luck!

Welcome, enjoy the new coach. We had a Winny for many years, and it was a great coach.

Do you know what the symbol on the grill stands for? Mercedes was the daughter of one of the founding fathers of the group that built racing engines in the early 1900's. The three points represent the three types of engines they produced. Land, sea and airplane engines. So if they ever ask on Jeopardy, you'll know. By the way hello and welcome from Michigan.
