Our new to us 2007 Holiday Rambler Navigator 45 PBQ

Hi All,

My wife and I decided to splurge and get something higher end....It's a birthday and early retirement gift to me. We've owned dozens of RVs over several decades and we've always pinched our pennies. Just finished putting 3 kids through college and I'm not getting any younger, so we decided "what the heck", let's live a little. Traded in our 2005 Gulf Stream Atrium 8411, which we really liked, and bought the 2007 HR Navigator 45 PBQ. We are quite excited about it. It's drenched in quality and we can really tell from the interior and ride/drive. Has every imaginable gadget (which scares me a little). We were considering a used Newell but decided to go this route. I've been a member of this forum for several years and am grateful for all of the knowledge, tips, help, and offers. Great group! Thank you and see you on the road!!

Congratulations to you and the choice that you made.
I’ve always appreciated the workmanship and specifically the cabinetry of the Oregon coaches of that era.

Wish you many safe miles and happy years with your new coach.

That is a darn good looking coach. I have pretty much the same color scheme. Even though ours is a little gasser, I am impressed with some of the things it has. And our cabinets aren't too bad either. It's too bad HR went the REV way. I may be one of the lucky ones to get a good build before they went to REV.
Oh, and I like the way your front cap slopes away towards the back. Probably helps some with air flow. Mine is pretty square.
Enjoy and have fun.

Hi All!

Thank you for the nice and encouraging comments. I've noticed some of you folks served in our armed forces....thank you for your service. Without the great work from citizens like you, we wouldn't have this great country of ours.

I've been tinkering with some small maintenance and general cleaning as we get it ready for summer. I'm excited about taking it out for it's first local outing in May. I'm finally becoming familiar with all of the buttons and gadgets. I'm taking it to the shop next week for some maintenance just to "set the bar" with fluids, belts, filters, etc. I'm so fortunate that years ago, I found an incredible, small family-owned diesel shop that is so honest and reasonable. They primarily work on area school district busses and also do motorhomes. The most nicest, friendliest, and accommodating family. Rare these days to find customer service like this.

Thanks and see you on the road!!

Hi Folks. This coach will make you proud. Karen and I had a 2007 Monaco Dynasty Limited Edition from new in 07 till 2019, 12 years and it was still going strong when we traded it. It was really built and probably made better than most of todays highline coaches. Make sure that you get her weighed for each tire and compare to your weight chart. The only problem that we ever really had was a right front tire blow-out caused by poor Goodyear tires recalled) and in later years a passenger front blow out caused by the extremely poor road conditions and huge pot holes in South Carolina. Everything worked 12 years after the purchase. I am a little envious. Will try and monitor the Monaco/Holiday Rambler portion of the forum for any questions that you may have. Lots of helpful folks there. Did the coach come equipped with the Eaton Vorad System( forward and side radar warning system). Way ahead of its time. Please stay safe and enjoy your excellent coach.
