Refurbishment Nearing Completion

Well its not all that new to me. We bought it in April, but I have spent the past few months tinkering with it, and it is finally coming into shape as a viable RV. I did not have to fix the furnace...it worked like a charm without laying a hand on it. Everything else had to be repaired. The PO was evidently anti-maintenance. I also recently painted the bottom and Zep waxed it. Wow - what a difference! I am in the process of changing out the radiator, and then I think we will ready for camping. Too bad its almost winter!

Radiator is now repaired and functioning like it should...ready for camping. Here are pictures of the inside. This rig may not have cost much $, but I have expended many hours in getting into shape. Still needs a lot of work, but mostly just small visual things (wallpaper, blinds, etc.).

Yes - I installed a 19" tv/dvd where an old vcr was located. I plan to remove the old analog tv and convert the space to storage. We are not big on tv but wanted something to watch an occasional movie on dvd.

Hey cost is not really important, if you are having fun ( most of the time) fixing it up is fun to me. You will be proud and know it inside and out. I just traded for a " new" 2005 Southwind 32 vs ! First ford chassis I have ever had. Total new learning experience. I feel it drives better than either my p-30 or w-20 chassis. We are all on a great journey! Enjoy
