The sofa is a jack-knife, the dinette drops down and then is in-filled with seat-back cushions; together they make a really comfy king-size bed.

I have seen his blog before ... it's really well done ... I see he has been in hospital & hope he is now recovered.

We just started a blog (see signature below) but need to put a lot more work into it as we move forward. Time is so precious and we seem to have so little of it for things like developing and maintaining a blog. But we try!

He's not quite there yet. He was released again a couple of days ago and is now back in the Chinook with his road bud Emily (his cat) and taking some powerful antibiotics. Hopefully in a few weeks he'll be back to full health. For the time being he's sticking around the area he's in now for medical attention if needs be. [This all stems from an appendicitis episode with some nasty left over infection.]

Seeing the photo of your rig in a campsite has pegged my envy meter.

Mine's still surrounded by a foot of snow.

Seeing your pics brought back memories. After growing up camping in tents with my family, I first saw a Chinook in the early 80's when I was in college, and thought how luxurious it was and how wonderful it would be to camp in such a "civilized" manner...No struggling with erecting a tent and sleeping on an air mattress on the ground. I literally dreamed of owning a Chinook one day. Somehow over the ensuing 30 years, going from the tent, to pop-up, to trailer, to RV...I skipped over owning a Chinook and now I realize I missed out....

I am envious but I wish you many happy adventures. Use it in good health and happiness..

Nice. Interesting how the bed folds down. I've never seen that type. How do you like the door in the back?

However, that's not small. Mine is small. lol

Enjoy the camping season.
