Super C upgrade for Gulfstream Kodiak to International

We happily ran our 2007 Gulfstream Conquest on the Chevy C5500 Kodiak chassis for a few years. We just recently traded it in for a 2008 Gulfsteam Supernova on the International chassis. The supernova is at the dealer waiting for some new slide toppers and I can't wait to take possession of it.

The only thing I was disappointed with the Kodiak chassis was the handling on the highway. I am use to on a daily basis driving a big class 8 truck on the highway for work and hoped the Kodiak would have been more stable. Instead it really felt like the road drove it all over the place.

I only drove the supernova for about 5 miles on a test drive on the highway but I was very please with out it handle at highway speeds. It has already been upgraded with the read air suspension and the road king shocks. I will miss the Duramax, that engine was such a beast for the size of the Conquest Super C.

I have owned a 6.0 Powerstroke F350 before so I have an idea what to expect with the VT365 engine. It was rather cold when I took it a test drive so I took it easy on the cold engine, maybe not the same acceleration as the Duramax but power felt decent.

The other coach upgrades we are looking forward to with Supernova are the full body paint, larger storage compartment doors, bunk beds, bigger kitchen and more storage. Also the opposing slides in the bedroom will make it easier to get around the bed.
