12VDC battery monitor with 100 amp shunt

I was searching for a 12vdc monitoring system for our RV since we have a residential refrigerator. I ran across this little meter [US$12.99 21% OFF]DC 100A LCD Voltage Current Meter Car Battery Panel Power Monitor With Shunt Module Board For Arduino from Electronics on banggood.com

I've bought from here before (6 liter oxygen concentrator for $250) with no problems. Thought I'd pass along the deal.

Just make sure a 100amp shunt is enough to cover all your loads. I use a Magnm BMK shunt ad it's 300 amps.

100 amps is 1200 or less inverter output watts so running a microwave or coffee pot on inverter might be too much for the shunt. Probably won't melt but might get warm and give inaccurate readings.

You can buy a 300 amp shunt for it as well. https://www.banggood.com/Shunt-Resis...r_warehouse=CN

The only thing on our 1000 watt invertor is our frig and TV's. So i'' try the 100 amp for now may upgrade latter.
