1970 Ford and matching 5er.
Would this be the first custom-built matching truck and 5er?

I/m thinking not; I was at Harrah's automobile collection in Reno years ago , and there was a 36 Ford , 5 window coupe , with the rumble seat removed , and a goose neck hitch and an approx 25', 5th wheel trailer attached .
Prow front on the 5er , glass windows and seats for passengers .

Custom rv's have been around since the beginning. This looks like one that someone paid way too much for and had bright plans that didn't pan out and now needs his fortune back.
Sep one would be an expensive upgrade into tires and wheels. The existing split rims are too dangerous to use and no shop super with any kind of safety concerns would not allow them to be worked on.
The seller didn't say what kind of engine, but it looks like diesel. It looks a second truck had it's front cut off and was welded to the back of a trailer. Someone definitely did alot of work at one time.

That is just hideous.
70's color schemes were terrible on their own
That mix/match looks like someone threw up...........

Highly unlikely to see that interior featured in Architectural Digest...
It wasn't tasteful or stylish even at the time it was installed.
It looks like a cheap diner in Barstow.
