Hey Terry735001 Thanks for your response I have found a web site that i can get a chassis manual for this rig and it may explain everything i am hunting for do you know if there is a source that will explain the chassis data tag numbers for earlier model trucks. today all we have to do is take the vin number and it will explain all the pertinent information about that vehicle but that did not become law till sometime in the late 70 to early 80 if the info that i acquired is correct according to the mfg number on that tag riveted to the door jam the engine is a small block 400 but the literature that i have only goes to 1978 hope this not to much at one time
