1999 damon intruder troubles

Hello all we have a 1999 damon intruder and the cruise control just stopped working i believe it is a F53 chassis i did notice that the horn also done work my question is where do i start my diagnosis thanks for any help

For the Cruise control, I would start with the brake light switch, see if it turns the brake lights on and off, then the fuse, Lastly see if the cruise control harness recall has been done.

thanks for the reply yes the brake lights do work and the fuse is good but it suddenly quit working iv read alot about the the recall but i dont know if mine is in there

Do the brake lights stay on? If so that is what cancels the cruise control.
