1999 Fleetwood Southwind

We bought this rig 2 years ago and it is on a Ford V-10 chassis.
Runs fine, shifts good and then the guages and indicator lights start going on off and then she stalls. I pull over, shut off key, restart and this works for about a few minutes then repeat.Other issue is it doesn't shift gears correctly, goes from first to third etc. When it is not acting up that way the transmission acts up. Very dangerous and frustrating. When PC is hooked up to it it reads "bad speed sensor" which I've had replaced twice along with paying over a thousand dollars for diagnostic trouble shooting. They found a bad ground somewhere in the loom but that didn't fix it.

Also can't keep drivers window from breaking from stress. On third windshield. Never been wrecked and Fleetwood states that year did not have problems..............

HELP.

what year and what chassi do you have? I had a simillar problem with my old rv that was on a f53 chassi and the problem was a bad ground there is a bulletin from ford on that and there is a updated small harness, but I don't want to get your hopes up and If that is not the problem then you going to want to shut me, what year and what chassi do you have?

I have a 1999 Southwind 32V with over 50,000 miles on it. The only major issue I have had in the 4 years I have owned it, is it's tendency to go through sensors. Other than that it runs fine and has lots of power. I know this is not much solace, but may offer hope if you can find out the problem.

Thank you, we love the coach once it gets where we're going. Lot's of power too when it's not poltergeisting.

Mine is a 1999 Southwind 32V as well. Just bought it last year but so far she's doing great. Keep us informed if you get it figured out.
