20 hours and counting!

We leave tomorrow morning for a 3 week epic adventure! Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Sturgis, Mammoth site, etc! Caravaning with another couple and their rig. Lots of adventures and crossing off a bunch from our bucket list. We actually found a copy of our bucket list from 4 or 5 years ago! Very excited!

AWESOME! Have a great and safe trip! And don't feel like you 'have' to squeeze it all in. If you are really enjoying a moment...stay! The other places will still be there for another trip!

We wish you well and lots of fun. That trip would take us 3 months to do though, you're making me tired!

Here's a little known spot you should see on your trip. On Highway 189/191, which is the north/south highway paralleling the Grand Tetons between Jackson Hole and Yellowstone, is a side road on the east side of 189/191 called Gros Ventre Road. I believe its just before the southern most turn off of 189/191 that heads east into Grand Tetons park.

The Gros Ventre Road follows the Gros Ventre River. As you drive down the road, you'll often see Bison and if you stop at the turnouts that are close to the river, you'll often see moose down by the river.

Follow the road for a few miles and it will loop north and then west, heading back to Highway 189/191. About a mile or so before the loop dumps you back onto Highway 189/191, there is a road called Mormon Row. There is a famous Chapel and barn that you often see in pictures, paintings and movies with the Grand Tetons rising in the background. The entire loop can be done in about an hour or so. It's worth the time.

We did a similar trip two years ago. We were there for 8 weeks and had an absolute blast. I'm sure you will too.

Keep us posted.

Happy Trails!!!
