Kountry Star
Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase a newmar Kountry star RV. Never owned an RV before, but from the reviews I've read, newmar seems to be a pretty good RV. Please offer your thoughts for anyone who knows about this RV. Thank you.

You'll find lots of helpful folks, familiar with Newmar rigs, over in the Newmar Owner's Forum. When you post, be sure to include information such as the size or model number and any other pertinent infor (gas/diesel) to aid in getting the right feedback.
We've had our '05 MADP for almost 3 years now and we're extremely pleased with it. Also, if you can, attend one of the Newmar Kountry Klub rallies near you. You'll have a great opportunity to meet others with a similar rig.

Regardless of the unit, how well it was maintained is more important than the manufacturer.

We have a 05 Kountry Star 3910. We have put on about 20K miles since 2013. We spent about half of the year on the road, the other half at home in Florida.
We are quite happy with it and in contemplating newer coaches consider only Newmars. Most coach owners have considerable loyalty to whatever they have and like, so consider the source in these evaluations. That said, Newmars are highly regarded in the RV community.
Tom
PS. If you can, get to the Tampa RV show in January. it's worth it.

That's a good starter RV. You'll love it and in a year looking for another bigger DP...good luck!

2005 Newmar Kountry Star
We have a 2005 Kountry Star gasser and like it a lot. When and if we ever decide to upgrade it will likely be another Newmar. It's a very well built coach.
