Are there any other addicts here who have their '08 season planned out yet ?? I have our camping trips/weekends on the calendar and about 1/2 of our reservations made. Planning trips is part of the fun for me. I don't know what I am going to do with the rest of my winter now, lol.

Hi All,
Hey Lil'Darlin1972,
I always do the same thing, and I agree 10000000% that planing the trips is almost as fun as the trips themselves !! Plus it also helps make sure things go smothly!! Will be in Fla from Jan thru March, then slooooooow ride back to NJ with some planed stops along the way should be home late April! I am also already booked for spring & fall NorEaster Rallies, ahhhh life is good !!!!!!!!!

Very true. We've had Christmas '09 at Fort Wilderness booked for 3 months now...it took me 2 months to get all the nights I needed !! I love looking at my campground directories and the CG websites and planning our trips. Makes time go by a little faster. Eventually when it's just Chad and I at home with nothing but time, we will take a trip with NO plans just because we can. But for now with the kids..I really need to plan things out. If I don't get them on the calendar, we don't get it done.

Cheri and I do the same, we will have about 90% of our vacation planned before the 1st of Jan the only thing we are sure of right now is the iRV2 rally in July to see all the great folks we have met over the years and the new ones we will meet this year. Lots of the rest will be at small campgrounds just relaxing. Thats the only way to go. We always leave some for that lets just do it time. Hope to see some of you along the way.

We have 2 "big" trips planned for next year. We will leave Jan 21 for FMCA convention in Pomona, CA. Then on to AZ and NM. We will be gone 4 weeks. All reservations are already made.
Will leave appx June 15 with stops in Salt Lake City, Calgary for the Stampede, Vancouver, Seattle, Oregon and then home. Plan to be gone about 5 weeks. Laying out the route, stops, and RV Park resverations now.
Our short trips dates are also planned.

We've got our trip planned & reserved to the beautiful Oregon coast for next August. Wifey, myself & the Honda Goldwing. Nothing like cruizing up and down the coast on the bike.

Well, our 2008 schedule is looking like this: January, Quartzsite for a crazy RV weekend; Feb., nothing scheduled yet. April, East Texas Vintage Motorcycle Trials Competition; May... 2 trips to Colorado, one to Cotopaxi and one to Milliken (both vintage trials events); June, BMW Motorcycle Rally in Panguitch, Utah; July, Donner Ski Ranch (near Reno) for another vintage trials comp.; August, Chehalis, WA (maybe)... trials event, Park City Utah BMW Motorcycle Rally, and on to Casper WY trials event; September, vintage trials event somewhere in Utah; also Sandia, NM trials event, and Dickson, TN trials event. October, our favorite, Napa Valley first, then Hollister Hills, CA trials event.
Whew! That is if the Universe continues to smile on us and make this all possible. Thanks in advance to God and the Universe!

Actually I am sick and tired of pre planning my vacations only to have the DW change eveything at the drop of a hat. Making and cancelling reservaions is not my favorite sport. For 08 and beyond it's now up to the wife I have no preferrence. In fact if she can't come up with a decent itinerary I will leave the thing parked.

Copy all BD. If you can find a good 'boarding' facility for DW, I know a great place to park it.
