2008 Fleetwood Excursion Heater Core Replacement

Happy New Year to All,

I have safely returned from my trip with the RV and now it's back on to figure how to replace the leaking heater core.

This heater Does Not come out the front, this heater must be replaced from INSIDE the coach which brings me to the golden question of just how in the heck do I disassemble the front dash to get access ??

Had the same problem. I installed 2 ball valves as described in post #1 & 2 in this thread. Got all the parts from HD.

Since we don't travel in the winter, don't know if I'll ever invest the time & $ to repair. If I do, it will be easy to just open the valves.

VeraKen,

Thanks for the reply, almost did the same to install the ball valves but did run across a post showing that the 8.3 had shutoff valves supplying the front heater core so I simply crawled under coach and was able to turn them off in the meantime.
