Hi there , can anyone tell me what the possible problem is with my rv ?
First the clock spring packed up which made the cruise control not work and then the accelerator started playing up by backing off till you let it go and then reapplied and basically you keep doin that till you get to the required speed . Anyway was told it was the pedal sensor so got one in only to find that’s not the problem . And now it feels like the brakes are on ? HELP ? Cheers mike

Your description sounds like it could be a clogged fuel filter.

Hadn’t considered that as it runs fine when it runs ? Also found brakes feel like there on and the brake pedal won’t back off unless I pull the pedal with my foot . And now the spanner warning light has come on ? I have cycled the ignition and now brakes ok . Going to try disconnect battery neg for an hr to see if it resets itself ? Cheers

Yes, your engine will run just fine at idle and even accelerate very slowly. I had the same issue on a long trip out west. You may have a different problem, but it's an inexpensive component and can't hurt to replace it.

The spanner (wrench) warning light as well as some of your other symptoms (like cruise control issues) indicates a problem with the electronic throttle control. Check with the OBD II to confirm before you disconnect the battery as that will clear the codes. We had the issue last year with our Itasca and replaced the electronic throttle body.
