Just to add more: Talking about the 2015 Newmar London Aire, might as well add that the 2015 Mountain Aire has the 500 hp DD13 engine.

If you do buy new, Newmar will do a lot of custom work. No one else with do that.

Again, thank you very much for the information.
Just finished first 300 miles in our new Cornerstone. Fairly breezy day in southern NM. Some 18 wheelers (probably empty or close to) seemed to be struggling a bit to stay in their own lane. Spartan K3 chassis performed great IMHO. Only slowed 2-3 MPH on grades going over the continental divide. Never got out of sixth gear (economy mode). 8 MPG at 65MPH on brand new engine. MSRP $600,000+ but you can probably get 30% off that at Lazy Days or MHSRV (south of Fort Worth.) Cummins ISX (650 HP and 1850 pound feet of torque) and Allison 4000 were great. I don't regret the purchase one bit. IMHO, best value out there in a new coach. However, if you want a lot of customization and are willing to pay for it, the Newmar is probably the way to go.

According to Steinbrings website the 2015 Mt Aire has a 500 Cummins.

If you are up for an adventure, take a trip up to Indiana and tour all 3 plants, Newmar, and Entegra are just a few miles apart and Fleetwood/American Coach is about an hour down the road.

The tours are well run and you can get a lot of insight to what goes into these units and the subtle differences between brands.

Just MHO, I will never buy another coach from a publicly traded company. Why? Publicly held companies have to meet expected sales and profit numbers each and every quarter or the market punishes them accordingly. Top executives usually get much of their pay through options, etc. which depend on rising stock values. If profits are looking shaky, cut costs by using inferior parts, hurrying production labor, etc.

Of course Newmar and Entegra (Tiffin, too) want to be profitable but can take a longer range view and can treat quality and customer satisfaction as longer range goals.

Just ask my brother about the four slide mechanisms he's had replaced under warranty on his publicly-traded built coach. (Four trips to the factory) Now he's out of warranty and is just waiting for it to fail again.

I wanted to thank everyone for their comments and opinions. At this time I am leaning towards the Entegra Cornerstone. It appears to meet our criteria of what we are looking for in our next coach and I am really liking the 2 year warranty.

I know the smart thing would be to visit the manufactures to go through the factory tour but after talking with the wifey....she stated "and you will understand and the end of the day which is better?" and I had to agree with her. The manufactures will tell us their way is better but at the end of the day how do you really know? (by asking on this website)

We are going to look at a 2014 Cornerstone within the week - my wife is anyway and if it meets her approval then we will work on closing the deal.

dlovitt - your review of your coach really made a difference for me...thank you!

If it does not work out and wifey does not like....I will be back.

Correction: Only 600 HP; torque figure is correct.

You very welcome. Best of luck to you on your search.
