It was a horrible year
broke my foot on thanksgiving (2018), didnt get released to travel until this March. SO we hit the road and then

My mother in law became very blind in one eye and almost in the other and the caretaker we had looking after her 5 days a week for 4 hrs day. Up and quit after 5 months. so have not been able to get away or not go check on her for more than two days at a time. driving my wife crazy.

then she stopped eating and looked like one of those kids in the feed world commercial and scared us that was on deaths door. She wont go in an assisted living place, the other 5 kids don't want any thing to do with her and they all live in Florida. she wants to live with us. but that would not end well and she might get left a rest area when she makes my wife mad. For some reason she is nice to me and mean ans a snake to her kids.

so this year we have been home WAAAAAYYYYY more than intended.

so needless to say we got lots done around the house instead. New upstairs shower, closets and some paint.
did all the annual maintenance on the coach and she is ready to roll

Class A, 22 states, zero nights in a commercial RV park, 2 nights in a hotel.

Hardest miles, 60 miles on NYC surface streets. Who does that?

It was a horrible year

[

The reasons how we ended up with a seasonal site -
- Wife broke her ankle (3 places)
- MIL that went from a house-apartment-assisted living-nursing home in about 5-6 years until she passed away at age 101 three years ago.
- We like the seasonal enough so we spend most of the summer there but do pull out to travel a couple times.

Hi All:

Thanks so much for all the answers. There are some of us that do some serious camping & traveling. LOL

We bought our coach at the end of March this year. We took a five year break after we sold our last coach.

Heading out west for about 6 weeks next year and do the National parks thing.
