Hi All:

Well the 2019 RV camping season is just about wrapping up for us in the Northern Tier. So I was just wondering how some of our members stacked up. So I put together 5 little questions to see how we all did. I will go first. If you could answer the questions in order it would probably help.

1. What class RV were you traveling in:Me: Tiffin 32 SA Class A
2. How many states did you hit in 2019, or drive through. Me: 15
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: Me: 7 not including one night stands at Walmart and rest stops.
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? Me: 6,150
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV? Me: 37

Now if you are full timers you will probably blow these numbers away. But if you are a seasonal camper like me, how did you stack up.

2. How many states did you hit in 2019, or drive through. 17
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: Me: about 25
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? Me: 8900
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV? about 60 so far more to come this year

2. How many states did you hit in 2019, or drive through: Drove through 12, some more than once; slept in 8
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: 9 (not including overnights at Cabela's, Cracker Barrel, friends & family)
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV: 5,288
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV: 49, May - October; done for the year

3. How many camp sites did you stay in: 50 or so
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? : Just over 8K
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV: 200 or so

2019 totals for our first year ever "camping" with a motor home...

1. What class RV were you traveling in: Thor Axis 24.1 - class A
2. How many states did you hit in 2019, or drive through. 8
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: 16
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? 4,850
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV? 31

Going to try to beat these totals next year!

2. How many states did you hit in 2019, or drive through. 23
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: 19 not including one night stands
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? 12,500ish in total. 7,000ish if you don't consider work miles
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV? All of them, but I'm full time so I'm kinda cheating. About 150 if you don't consider being somewhere for work.

2. How many states: 36 pus BC
3. How many camp sites: A lot!
4. How many miles: 15,132
5. Days on the road: Around 12 weeks on the road so far this year. Im planning an after-Chritmas/NewYears trip to FOY and the Salton Sea area.

All this on a 10 year old 30’ F53 hence my new signature line below:

We spend much of the high travel summer months in a single CG but do one or two lengthy trips though down in miles and states from previous years for health reasons:

1. What class RV were you traveling in:38' Montana 5er
2. How many states did you hit in 2019, 5 (lots more)
3. How many camp sites did you stay in: 8 (usually 10-15)
4. How many miles did you travel in 2019 in your RV? 2700 (usual is ~7000)
5. How many days did you camp out in your RV? 74 (usual is 85-90)

We’ve been full time RVers for the last 8 years but decided to buy a house again in the Missouri Ozarks and go part-time. We used to camp 365/yr but will still camp around 200 days/ yr.

This was my first full year of retirement. We traveled to the southwest and back to Milwaukee, to the northwest and back, a couple small trips in Wisconsin, and just returned from a trip to the southeast and back.

We have an Open Range 5th wheel.
We passed through 25 states, staying in 22 of them.
We set up in 49 different campsites.
We towed our rig over 14,000 miles, plus about 4,000 miles in side trips.
We camped 138 nights this year.
