2020 Census

How are full-time mobile RVrs accounted for in the census?

I have an escapees mailbox, but I only check that 1 or 2 times a year. Besides, I never did a change of address to it because I didn't want all the junk mail following me.

I am not even in the same state.

I thought I read something about them establishing locations where they knew people who live out of vehicles reside. Not sure if they were referring to the homeless living in cars, or RV parks, etc.

Anyhow, was just thinking it's probably important to be counted and wanted to know if anyone had specific info.

Thanks!

Census forms started arriving in the US mail today but all are not supposed to be delivered for a few days, I would check with Escapees March 23, it's a 1 page letter with a ID that can be used to take the census on a smartphone or computer, takes about 10 minutes. I don't know if the Escapees Mail Drops have a unique US Residential Address, if not then you likely won't get the census letter.

It's the law that you should respond to the letter (if you get one) by April 1, if you can. If you don't have access to a smart phone or computer a census taker will try to track you down in April or shortly thereafter.

Check with Escapees a little later when the letter should arrive and if it's there have your mail forwarded to where you are - via General Delivery.

Look on the Census website for help on what to do or possibly there's a ph# to call.

You can be counted right now in that link.

Whoops...sorry. You have to have the paperwork they left at your door or in the mail.

I did a search on their site for "Homeless." It didn't give a reply.

Imagine that...A billion dollar agency not knowing there are homeless people with no permanent address.

Well I guess the cities of Los Angeles and Seattle will have a lower count this time.

What I'd like to know is how/where Full Timers vote? What do you use for an address for the census?
