20amp outlet for Travel Trailer?

I have an electric box in my garage that is run from main box on a 50 amp breaker. Right now the box has a 220 piece of equipment on a double 30 breaker. Then I have 2 20amp outlets each separate.

If I use a 25 foot RV 30amp extension cord and hook to travel trailer and then get a 30amp to 20amp adapter cord could I run the AC? Possibly frig? Or better to just run frig off propane? I am in southwest Florida and would I be better off just getting a dehumidifier and not run AC?

Thanks
Dennis

possibly frig? Yes, but depending on power consumption of a/c and likely battery charger, all three may be pushing 20 amps.

i am in southwest florida and would i be better off just getting a dehumidifier and not run ac? For storage? Absolutely. A house-type 30 pint dehumidifier draining into the sink (then gray tank) and set to 50% humidity is much better at controlling mold and mildew. Have done just that on every one of our sailboats and motorhomes near the coast in Texas.

Thanks

30 amp outlet for trailer

Thank you for the replies. I have the auxiliary electric panel in the garage. With it running off 50amp breaker in the house and then having the double 30amp breaker running 220 and having another 2-20amp breakers shouldn't I be able to just add another 30amp breaker and set a 30amp plug by the panel? Don't really want to run outside.
Thanks
Dennis

Yes, you can add a single 30 amp breaker and RV 30 amp outlet.

Make sure you only use 1 hot leg for 120 volts only. That's what 30 amp RVs use.

Not sure why you need a a 20 amp converter just get 30 amp RV outlet and wire properly with 10ga wire.
Were you worried about the total amount/amps of breakers adding to over 50amp feed or main . My 200 amp panel has like 40 breakers spaces .

Yup, as long as your main breaker box can handle the extra 10 amps (Extremely likely) and you run the proper gauge wire for 30 amp service, that is certainly a very good alternative that will give you more flexibility to run roof A/C, etc.

I run AC, fridge and charger on a 20 amp circuit all the time, no issues.
To prevent having to use a 'dogbone' adapter you can do what I did and connect a 30 amp outlet on the 20 amp circuit - replacing outlet you currently have. Lowes and Home Depot both stock the 30 amp RV outlets, already installed in an exterior rated box. Since you're still maxed out at 20 amps due to the breaker in the supply panel there is no need to change your wiring.
As I recall it was under $40 when I got mine a few years ago.
