303 Touchless Sealant

I like all their other products and use the protectant on many surfaces

Curious as to any tips on using the silica based product. Bought two quarts and plan on trying it next week

On cars most sealants require you to clay bar first I couldn’t imagine clay baring a MH hopefully not with that product.

I've used it both on the car and motor home..it works great. Saves a lot of time and sweat too.

Question 303 application?

I have a couple of questions -
Did you use a clay sponge after washing before applying it to the RV?

Did you spray it on decals as well?

thank you
Chris

Hi Chris,

No clay bar at all. Use just like the directions say. Important- make sure surface is thoroughly clean and wet. Spray on quickly with a LIGHT coat- rinse off immediately. Yes, works on decals too.

Did you try to spray 100% of the surface?

Going to try it next week when my extra quart arrives,

Wanted to be sure i had enough to cover the entire rig

For those of you that have used the product. Does it give you the deep shine and depth of a true wax put on with a buffer. Our MH looks great after doing it but is a lot of work not to mention get the scaffolding out and running cords and air hose, Bla bla bla. It takes the two of us two days to do the rig the right way.

Go slow on a big surface like the MH. Spay on a THIN layer over an area of about 5' square, then hose off right away and move on. Trouble happens when you try to cover larger areas all at once with a pin-point spray. Know that even if that happens and you get streaking, just rewash and start over. This beats a d/a and buffing out (although a good wax will last longer). The 303 stuff will last about 8 mos if you live in the west with the rig covered in storage. We camp about 8 times in that time and I only wash it once a year but it actually needs it more often. Just lazy.
