A/c "shed"

I have a '99 Pace Arrow On the wall mounted thermo. control for the A/C and Heat there are two lights for each, Green=ON, Red=SHED.
What does SHED mean?? Sometimes when it first starts the two lights go green-red-green-red, both the A/C and Heat.
Heat works great-A/C will run about 10 min at a good temp, then the "Shed" comes on and it shuts down.
WHAT'S
HAPPENING

I would guess that the Load Shedder (or EMS) is kicking in.

Use the search feature on this site to see posts on its function.

...........The "SHED" light will come on when trying to run both AC units @ the same time because it's just to much current draw on 30amp service. I either use the bedroom unit or the living room unit, not both @ the same time. You can do so by running your generator for the extra current draw. BTW, you can run both units after your system cools down the inside and you can adjust your temperature accordingly which has less current draw. This is what works for me with the same system. If you have the ducted system which you should, always keep the return filters really clean. JMHO, good luck and travel safe.
