A Final Destination

Aging single RVer here, I’m looking for suggestions on where I might find an active year-around RV resort for seniors. I enjoy living in my fifth wheel and plan to continue doing so for the next few years. From my research to date, I believe most long term RV communities are located in Florida. Not looking for affordability as much as location, size (larger is better I think), and amenities. Again, I’m looking for an all-season destination. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, much appreciated.

Have a good friend who is a full-time "camper" in Douglas, AZ. Great place to live spring-fall, but he goes road tripping when the summer inferno hits. His pics of the area make it look like a great place to hunker down for most of the year.

Ed, check out the fountain of youth in Salton Sea area. Warm in summer but no humidity. Travato John

The Escapees RV Club has parks across the country. There's one in Summerdale, AL, one in Florida, Benson, AZ, Coarsegold, CA, Aguanga, CA and near Port Angeles, WA. All are very nice. Of course, they have wait lists to get one.

The downside to locating in locations permanently that are warm during winter is, in summer it is HOT, and many who live there become sunbirds = go North during summer.

South Florida looks like a ghost town in summer compared to winter-time.
