A security help for RV or Home
It is called "Fake TV" a 120v device that simulates a live TV show. Different colors with different shades and motions. We set ours up on a light timer when we are off and running......
It has a dusk to dawn feature or a constant ON.

Problem is when that big RV in the back yard is gone, all the fake gadgets mean nothing. A good Security system with video and a good monitor system will provide evidence and excellent information for police and insurance

Right on,
We leave a radio on a timer and have lights on timers go on @ different times. We have a security system and good neighbors that watch over the S&B. (8 months till we go Full timing.)
We have things on the MH that I will not divulge...
I remember as a kid we slept with the house doors open and unlocked, boy it sure has changed.

We have neighbors that watch the house and utilize the driveway periodically when we are gone. Our driveway is totally shaded with 2 very large oak trees that have joined above the driveway.

Don, the burglars might think you have someone "housesitting" while you're gone, so it could still be worthwhile!
We have a very good security system in the S&B, but I'm thinking of getting one of these gizmos for the MH!

Motorhome missing from the yard could also mean it is in the shop. The more layers of security you employ, the better it is. I use it.

Security cameras with motion sensors that email you pictures of what going on before somethings happens works well.

Cameras, internet, DVR and such are great for you to look at after the fact, or even as it happens, but 911 response is 11 minutes at best in inner city areas. So, the pics are merely evidence that the cops might use if this case is grand larceny or higher.
Well the perps will usually plead out and you will simply have an insurance deductible.
The fake TV deterent sounds plausible.
