AAA will not deal with my motor home
I have a car and have been with AAA for 40 or so years then I bought a 24 foot class c and a tow dolly and tow my car. AAA says they will not support the RV. The question I have is do people use 2 services like AAA and good Sam or do they have one provider? I live in NYC if that makes a difference.

I have BCAA RV Plus and they deal with my RV and cars.
Maybe if you have an entry level membership then they may not include your RV.
Check with your AAA office and you may have to upgrade.

Wow...I have AAA and they cover my RV, cars and houses.
Had a tire blowout that did $12,000 damage to the coach and they covered it all including towing.
They've paid for two awnings that were blown off and replaced my drivers side windshield.
I think I'd check with another agent.

Are you talking about roadside support or insurance?

I dropped AAA when I realized I got roadside assistance and towing through my insurance company USAA for a lot less and trip planning via Google Maps for free. I picked up Good Sam Roadside Assistance figuring they were better able to help with RV problems. CoachNet is another good one for that.

Have you updated your AAA to include the RV? They have two levels of RV support.

I purchased a plan through CoachNet...primarily because coverage extends to my entire "fleet" of vehicles (kids in college) and I was able to get better coverage than what was offered through AAA.

Two for me. National Interstate for the coach (full-timer insurance) and Geico for the Jeep (nobody else could come close to the Geico rate).

AAA coverage varies by area. I can't get RV coverage in my area, so it is time to drop them.

Although RVs are not covered by standard AAA roadside assistance, they do have extra-cost coverage specifically for RVs. However, most of what I have heard about AAA roadside assistance for RVs is not that great. Most RVers use CoachNet or Good Sam roadside assistance.
