AC Cooling Fan?
There is a fan under my 99 Allegro Bus diesel, which looks to be cooling fan for the Ac condensor or radiator. It is not running. Ac fairly cool running down the road hot when sitting still. This is the dash ac I am speaking of. I feel I need to chaeck the fuse, but have not been able to locate them so far. Any help be appreciated.

Most likely the same relay that engages the compressor clutch also energizes the condenser fan. If you can't trace the wire from the relay that powers the clutch, a second relay from the clutch wire could be used to power the fan.

Be sure it is working, my relay failed, the ac built up heat, the compressor failed and locked up. The belt broke and I had emergency repairs on the road $2200.00. My relay is in the compartment, drivers side in front of front wheel in a box. The fan should come on when you turn on the dash ac

Also check to make sure the power connectors for the fan have not broken, failure at the connector on either side is fairly common with age. They tend to get some corrosion over time, which increases resistance, which makes them get hot, ...

DITTO. Cooling the refrigerant is critical to the health of the system. I'd not use it in its current state. Is power getting to the fan? These fans do fail. Then trace backwards. If the compressor is running, the condenser fan should be running too.

Yup--wire connections, relays, fuses--all could be a problem. Or even the trinary switch on the system itself could be a problem. Lots of things to check--go for the obvious first, but best answer might be to re-wire a new fan relay to the compressor clutch circuit--that way fan runs anytime clutch is on......

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I would call Tiffin with that question! Keep her between the ditches!

I don't think Tiffin made a front engine diesel Allegro Bus in 1999.
