What kind of fastener is this. How to undo. It holds the 2 piece a. Cover together..

Believe they are phillips screws.
Looks like someone has made a mess of that one.

Put a fender washer under it.
Best, replace the bolt as well.
Both in stainless steel.

Appears to be a body rivet to me, the back-side will show threads or bulged body.

It looks like a plastic (nylon) trim panel clip. I would check and see if it is metal or plastic, if plastic then you only need to pull it out, some unscrew which may be the case for yours, but those that do usually have a phillips head which is 4 prong not 3 as in your photo. ~Craig

Does the other 3 screws that hold the cover on look the same?
Pretty sure my Dometic Duotherm covers use phillips screws.
