Question AC/Fan kicking off and on over and over, no apparent OFF OFF button

Just the temp slide across the top, hi thru low, one low--power switch and a COOL FAN FAN switch. Duo Therm by Dometic and then across the dining room is another KOOL Matic box with only a temp dial and a hi lo toggle switch.

Very relieved that it does work (although I'm sure needs some cold juice), I don't want it to wear itself out trying to figure out what to do on this chilly, rainy day. I am simply plugged in here at home in the driveway doing improvements, etc.

I apologize in advance for this but that is an ignorant answer.
I was working in there needing the power.
Use the forum for a solution that makes sense or save your keystrokes.

(I turned that one breaker off for now if you must know.)

I had a Monaco with one of those thermostats once. From time to time it would display the symptoms you describe. Finally figured out that because the thermostat was mounted on an outside wall, when conditions were just right, I would get condensation on the back of and inside the thermostat that caused the erratic behavior. Removed and remounted on and inside wall and never had the problem again.

You got a "ignorant" answer from a ignorant poster (me). Enjoy.
