ACOE campsite rate increases

Apparently this applies to all Corps of Engineer campgrounds. The article cites Carlyle Lake COE in Southern Illinois, but from the article it appears rates are increasing nationwide.
Still the best deal around though, especially if you utilize your Senior Pass.

With the senior pass, full hookups are increasing $2. Nothing to get upset about. Unfortunately for us, there are very few COE campgrounds anywhere near us. None in Colorado.

That will work!

Compared to other cost increases for the RV world, this is trivial. We really Like COE campgrounds. They are good value, seldom are encroached by train or traffic noise, and the facilities meet our needs.

Sympathy for folks who do not have COE campgrounds in their area. CA has only a few and at least one is quite nice but not very reachable due to a horrible access road.

Understand that some COE parks in areas close to major events are not as cost effective as what we see at most other COE parks. Again, that's a circumstance that I can accept.

Thanks for posting the information.
