Adding a black tank flush connection.

I have a 2005 Four Winds Dutchmen M34r. Super C. There is no black tank rinse connection. Not even a connection for a hose at the toilet in the bathroom. Anyone ever added a connection on the outside of the tank to connect a garden hose to? The way the plumbing is routed an adapter outside at the sewer hose connection doesn't work well. Thanks!

Currently I fill my blank tank to the top and dump it. Repeat until clean. A fresh water rinse port would be awesome!

Can you reach in through the toilet? If you can, just pick up one of those "wands" and hold the valve open and blast away.

I can reach in through the toilet but I do not have a water connection in the bathroom and I really would like to avoid running a hose in to the bathroom if possible. I can cut the water line to the toilet and add a valve and connection there easy enough. Just happen to run across a couple built in systems that looked intriguing.

I got a garden hose adapter for the sink faucet. With that you can connect a short garden hose, or better yet a washing machine hose with a 90 degree end. An ordinary wand can be used with your choice of hot or cold water. You can even use your own fresh water.

It should not be difficult if you can get to the black tank. You need enough access to be able to drill a 1 inch hole in the side of the tank near the top or in the top of the tank. When my black tank flush nozzle clogged up it was in a place I could not get at so I added a new one This is the one I added https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-A70-...+Accessory+Kit

You would also need to have a connection in the water bay for the hose to flush the black tank. I took a quick look and this would work but you would need to label it for the black tank.https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-A010...ter+connection. When you hook the hose between the inlet and the flush nozzle it is recommended that you put in an air gap. If you add this don't forget to blow out the line with some air when you winterize.

Sorry I can't remember what the name of the sprayer is but I installed one early this year. It is necessary to have minimal surface of black tank to mount. I cut access hole with dremmel tool. It has a sprayer that goes into the tank it sprays in every direction. All my Denver's work great now and they get well cleaned each time I dump. Took me about an hour and half to install comes with back flow preventer and mounting screws, I had to supply silicone sealant for mounting. Works great think I spent only in twenty dollar range. Best thing I have done to help holding tank, before I was useing wand with hose through bath window, and never got half the cleaning I get now

Bought a Camco Tornado rotary flusher from Walmart.com for $26. Came with all parts needed. Easy install once you find flat spot on top side of tank. Installed on grey tank for food particles. In water compartment used Y connector with shut offs to go to this flusher or San T flusher installed at factory.

I looked at both the Valterra and the Camco Tornado. I like the thought of the tornado but I watched some videos on it and it seems to me to really work and clean properly a large holding tank would need 2 maybe three of these at different locations. I can get easy access to the end furthest from the drain and the end with the drain but thats about it. Thoughts on installing one at each end?

Just remember that the more you put in, the more water volume and also the pressure may drop down enough that they won't be effective.

Yeah thought about that. I'm just not sure that one would effectively clean the tank.

Might just install a valve and Tee at the toilet supply line then get the Camco flexible swivel stick.

I find the Valterra Flush King much more effective than my coach's built-in rinser.

The plumbing from my hose connection to the tank will not allow this to clean the tank well.

I installed the Tornado about 4 years ago. That coupled with a clear 45 coming off the rv connection and I am good. I fill the black tank before the initial dump and then run the tornado with the gate open. I let it run until it runs clear. Then I close the gate and let the tornado run for a while to fill a good about of water in the tank. Then I drain it and tornado it again. The stuff that comes out is amazing.

I recommend the Tornado to all my friends.
